Hey Y’all, Aaron Jarnigan here.
In August of 2025, I relocated from Cleveland, Tennessee, back to my hometown of Knoxville following one of those unexpected chapters in “life’s stories.” Down in Cleveland, I had been pouring my energy into building AJ Media—a small business dedicated to providing real estate agents and local business owners with dependable media services. But when I moved back home, I let AJ Media go quiet. I needed some time to settle in, let the nerves calm from the events that brought me back, and really think about what came next. For several months, I was stuck in deep thought: Do I keep pushing AJ Media forward, or do I put it to rest? Ultimately, the time away gave me clarity. I didn’t want to just restart; I wanted to build something bigger, stronger, and more deeply rooted in the community. Enter: Marble City Media Co.
What Drives Me As An Entrepreneur
When I reflect on my entrepreneurial drive, my mind often goes back to when I was twelve years old. Even then, I knew I wanted to do my own thing—specifically, I wanted to open a computer repair store. As a kid, I was absolutely obsessed with technology. We didn’t come from a family with a lot of extra means, so when I first sat down in front of my cousin’s Sony Vaio desktop back in 2002, I was utterly mesmerized. As we grow up, many of us develop a deep desire for the things we didn’t have access to as children. For me, that desire became the foundation of my commitment to entrepreneurship. Growing up, I watched peers and family members enjoy luxuries that were out of reach for us. While I didn’t realize how it was shaping me at the time, I see now that navigating that gap created a profound drive within me. To be clear, this isn’t about materialism. It’s about a belief system forged by my upbringing: if I don’t work hard and perform, I can’t build the life I want.
For me, entrepreneurship is the ultimate vehicle. It is the means to provide for my family, secure my independence, and enable myself to do the things that truly matter.
The Core Values of Marble City Media Co
Marble City Media Co. is my brainchild, and like anyone who builds something from the ground up, I take my creation very seriously. Everything that happens under the umbrella of this business is a direct reflection of who I am, how I lead, and the way I treat and serve people.
To ensure we stay true to that mission, we operate by six core values:
- Heart: We lead with passion, empathy, and respect. We are a business doing business with people.
- Hunger: We have an appetite to please our clients and deliver exceptional work—because there is no alternative.
- Humility: We aren’t owed anything; we have to earn our seat at the table. We are defined by how we treat people, and we treat people well.
- Transparency: No masks, no guises, no secrets.
- Trust: We tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That is simply how adults communicate.
- Dedication: We stop at nothing to ensure our clients’ expectations and needs are met, working tirelessly to get projects exactly where they need to be.
When we choose to do business with another company, what we are really saying is that we trust and respect the people behind the brand.
Marble City Media Co. is not a cash-grab business. We are here to build long-lasting, meaningful relationships that elevate everyone involved.
The Foundation of Our Services
Marble City Media Co was founded as a video production first company. While my love for this craft started in classic photography, I fell in love with capturing and telling stories. I just like you, am a human. I find the connection and experiences between people to be absolutely fascinating and if picking up a camera did any one thing for me, it was lead me to some of the best people I’ve ever known. People I love dearly and call friends.
Stories: Marble City Media Co is here to help capture and tell stories. Whether that’s to share your perspective, sell a service or film your wedding, we’re here for a damn good story.
Real Estate Photography: Over the past five years, I have completed more than 200 Real Estate Listing shoots comprised of classic photos, drone photo and video, walkthrough videos, 360 tours and Matterport services. To enable me to fill the calendar in the in-between times of video shoots, I have decided to continue offering Real Estate Media Services. Interested in them?
